How do I shrink a photo to the size a website requires?

Tap “Choose Photos or Files”, pick your photos, then choose “Compress to Size”. Select 500 KB, 1 MB, 2 MB or a custom size, and tap “Start Compressing”. In “Advanced Options” you can also type the website’s limit directly, for example “max 2MB” or “1200×1200”.

It is still over the target after compressing

The result screen marks files as “over target”. Turn on “Auto Resize”, turn off “Keep It Sharp”, or limit the width and height in Advanced Options, then try again. When a PDF is over the target, it is converted to image pages to reduce its size.

Can I use it without opening the app?

Yes. In the Photos or Files app, select photos or PDFs, then tap Share and choose PassSize. The first time, tap “More” at the far right of the share sheet to add it to your favorites.

I forgot the vault’s app passcode

Tap “Forgot Passcode?” on the unlock screen. To protect your privacy, the app erases all files in the vault and sets it up again. This cannot be undone, and we cannot help recover them.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Go to Settings → Lifetime Unlock → Restore Purchase, using the same Apple Account.

How do I switch language or dark mode?

Go to Settings → Appearance & Language. Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean are supported, and your choice takes effect immediately.
