Picsy: Photo & Video Memories
Getting started
Tap “Start Creating”, choose 1 to 30 items, pick a template, then tap “Generate My Memory”. When it is done, you can edit the text, order and ratio, and save it to Photos or share it.
How do I add or remove photos?
On the editing page, choose “Order”, then “Add / Remove Media”. Uncheck an item to remove it, and check photos or videos from other sources to add them. At least 1 item must remain.
How do I resume editing?
Changes after generation are saved automatically to “My Memories”. Reopen the creation to continue. Undo and Redo are available at the top right of the editing page; the editing history for the current session is reset when you leave the editing flow.
Why can’t I see all my photos?
Check the Photos permission in iOS Settings. If you granted access to only some photos, the app can read only the items you allowed. You can also add specific photos with the system photo picker. If media exists only in iCloud, an internet connection is needed during import so that Apple can download the original.
What if saving fails?
Make sure iOS allows Picsy to add to Photos, and check the available storage on your device. While a video is being generated, keep the app open and wait for the progress to finish; after canceling, you can export again.
Can I share to Instagram, Threads or LINE?
After installing the destination app, choose it in the iOS share sheet. You can also save the result to Photos first and then post it from the destination app.
How do I make another version?
In “My Memories”, touch and hold a creation and choose “Save as Copy”. The copy has its own independent text, order and layout settings, and the original creation is kept.
How do I delete data?
Removing a creation deletes its creation record; imported media remains in the app for reuse. Deleting the app removes the app’s local media and creations. Outputs already saved to Photos should be managed in the Photos app.
What does Picsy Pro include?
The new version offers Picsy Pro, which you can choose as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, to unlock advanced templates and high-quality output. The actual plans, prices and whether a free trial is offered are as shown on the in-app purchase screen and Apple’s purchase confirmation screen. The original templates and standard-quality export can continue to be used for free. Users who previously bought the “Give Picsy a little support” lifetime upgrade keep their existing benefits.
Subscriptions renew automatically and can be canceled at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
How do I restore my purchase after changing phones or reinstalling?
Using the Apple Account you originally purchased with, tap “Restore Purchases” on the purchase screen. Purchases follow your Apple Account, while creations and photos remain on the original device; restoring purchases does not sync creations. Please save important creations to Photos or back them up first.
What if a purchase is pending, canceled or refunded?
Canceling a purchase does not enable the upgrade or prevent free creating. A pending purchase is unlocked automatically once Apple approves it; you can reopen the app later or restore purchases. If Apple refunds or revokes a purchase, paid export is disabled, while existing creations and free features remain usable. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple.
Can I still create without an internet connection?
Imported media, layout and export are processed on the device. Purchasing, loading prices and restoring purchases require a connection to Apple; downloading original media from iCloud may also require Apple’s download. A verified lifetime upgrade can be retained through Apple’s local purchase records.
