Job Pocket keeps your job-search preparation in one place: share jobs from job sites or save them in Discover, organize the key points and fit, then write cover letters, review interview key points and practice with voice mock interviews.

How do I save a job from a job site?

In Safari, on a job page from 104 Job Bank, Cake, LinkedIn, Yourator, 1111 or Glassdoor (104, Cake, Yourator and 1111 are Taiwanese job sites), or Greenhouse, or in those platforms’ apps, tap Share, choose “Job Pocket”, then choose “Save link only” or “Analyze”. If you cannot find Job Pocket in the share sheet the first time, scroll to the far right, tap “More” and turn on Job Pocket. If you choose Analyze, analysis starts only after you return to the app and agree to AI data processing; saving the link only does not use AI.

What other ways are there to add a job?

Tap ”+” at the bottom of the app to paste a job link. Currently the public single-job pages of 104, LinkedIn, Cake, Yourator, 1111, Glassdoor and Greenhouse are supported; other websites, short URLs and job listing pages are not supported. For Glassdoor, only the link is saved and the job content you actively share or paste is processed; the backend does not fetch it automatically. If you paste only a link, it is saved first, and you can then use “Paste / Edit job content” in the job’s menu. If 1111 asks for a security check, open the page yourself and then share or paste the content.

What is Discover?

The Discover tab compiles jobs publicly posted on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby by about 80 well-known companies, showing only jobs from the last 14 days. Open a job to see its full content, plus the company’s founding year, headquarters, size, industry and listing information (compiled from Wikidata and Wikipedia, and possibly incomplete). Tapping “Save” saves the job in the app so you can later analyze it, write a cover letter or practice for the interview. Job Pocket does not apply on your behalf; apply on the original job page.

What if analysis fails?

If the job page cannot be read, check that the original link is still public and is a single job page, and try again later; you can also keep the job and open the original website to view it. Job analysis and resume organizing share a monthly allowance, and the service also has daily volume and request-rate limits; if you reach a limit, please try again next month.

How is the fit score calculated?

The score is estimated from the job content and the job-search preferences, skills and resume you entered in the app, and is for reference only. Filling in “Job-search preferences” and “My Resume” makes the analysis closer to your situation.

How do I write a cover letter?

On the job page, choose to write a cover letter, pick Traditional Chinese or English, and adjust the tone and length. When it is done, it lists which facts from your resume the letter used so you can check them; you can edit it, copy it or download it as a PDF. Cover letters are written from your resume content, so fill in or import it in “My Resume” first, and check that the content is accurate before you send it.

How do interview key points and mock interviews work?

Each job has an “Interview key points” page that gathers preparation reminders, a company overview and questions you may be asked; the mock interviewer also refers to the same content.

When you start a mock interview, you can choose the interviewer (Evan, Kevin, 國宇 or Anna) and one of two displays: “Interviewer view” or “Text chat”. After the interviewer asks a question, you answer by speaking, one question per turn; live captions are shown while you speak. When it ends, a written report is generated with per-question suggestions and scores. The first time, you need to allow the microphone; live captions are shown only if you allow “Speech Recognition”, and you can still answer without it. A quiet place is recommended.

Free and Pro allowances

• Free: 25 job analyses per month (shared with resume organizing), 3 cover letters, and one trial mock interview with 2 questions.
• Pro: 200 job analyses per month, 200 cover letters, and 8 full mock interviews (about 15–20 minutes and 5–8 questions each).

Allowances are counted by calendar month, and the actual figures are as shown in the app. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that you can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Can I use dark mode?

Yes. The app follows your system’s light/dark setting by default, and you can also choose Light or Dark under “Appearance” in Settings.

Feature requests and reports

In Notifications → Community & Updates you can view announcements and development progress, and also submit a feature request. A request is made public immediately once submitted, so please do not post personal contact details, resumes or other people’s sensitive data. If you see inappropriate content, you can report it or block the author from the content menu, or email us.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and All Data to delete your account, which also clears the account data on the server and the content on this phone. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
